Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of vacuum sealing drainage (VSD) in the treatment of limb skin avulsion injury. Methods A total of 60 patients with limb skin avulsion injury admitted to our hospital from January 2018 to December 2021 were randomly divided into control group and study group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional methods, and the study group was treated with VSD technology. The effective survival rate of avulsion skin, hospitalization time and VAS pain score of the two groups were compared. Results The survival rate of avulsion skin in the study group was higher than that in the control group, the hospitalization time was shorter than that in the control group, and the VAS pain score was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion VSD technique is effective in the treatment of limb skin avulsion injury. Compared with conventional treatment, it can significantly improve the effective survival rate of avulsion skin, shorten the hospitalization time and reduce the pain of patients. It is worthy of application.
