Abstract:Objective To evaluate the application effect of nasal prosthesis+autologous auricular cartilage in short nose lengthening rhinoplasty surgery for patients with short nose. Methods A total of 80 patients who underwent short nose lengthening rhinoplasty surgery in Xi'an Lai Medical Beauty Hospital from April 2017 to March 2020 were selected and randomly divided into group A and group B,with 40 cases in group. Group A with nasal prosthesis, and group B with nasal prosthesis and autologous auricular cartilage. The success rate, incision healing time, satisfaction and complications of the two groups were compared. Results The success rate of operation in group A and the total satisfaction was lower than that in group B (P<0.05). The healing time of incision in group A was longer than that in group B (P<0.05). The total incidence of complications in group A was higher than that in group B (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of autologous auricular cartilage+nasal prosthesis in short nose lengthening rhinoplasty surgery in patients with short nose can improve the success rate of surgery, shorten the healing time of incision, reduce the incidence of complications, and also improve the satisfaction of patients with plastic surgery.
