Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of nasal endoscopic low temperature plasma ablation in patients with chronic rhinitis. Methods A total of 80 patients with chronic rhinitis admitted to our hospital from January 2019 to January 2020 were randomly divided into routine group and study group, with 40 cases in each group. The conventional group was treated with electric cutting and suction under nasal endoscopy, and the study group was treated with low temperature plasma ablation under nasal endoscopy. The operation indexes, nasal congestion symptom score, postoperative complications and prognosis were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, nasal congestion symptom score and the total incidence of postoperative complications in the study group were lower than those in the conventional group, and the differenceswere statistically significant(P<0.05). The saccharin clearance time and nasal resistance in the study group were lower than those in the conventional group, and the differencewas statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Nasal endoscopic low temperature plasma ablation in the treatment of chronic rhinitis has a high value, which can shorten the operation time, reduce the amount of bleeding, quickly improve the symptoms of nasal obstruction, with less postoperative complications, good prognosis, its worthy of clinical application.
