Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of low dose minocycline combined with Poffrey soothing and moisturizing repair cream in the treatment of patients with acne rosacea. Methods Sixty patients with rosacea diagnosed and treated in the dermatology department of our hospital from June 2019 to March 2021 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group according to the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was given oral minocycline capsules, topical tacrolimus ointment; the observation group was combined with Poffrey soothing and moisturizing repair cream on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, clinical symptom score, recurrence rate and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The scores of clinical symptoms (papules and pustules, pruritus, erythema) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The recurrence rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). No adverse reactions occurred in both groups during treatment. Conclusion Low dose minocycline combined with Poffrey soothing and moisturizing repair cream can effectively improve the total effective rate and reduce clinical symptoms in patients with rose acne, with low recurrence rate and high safety.
