Objective To analyze the effect of targeted nursing on skin itching and quality of life in patients with intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy. Methods A total of 100 patients with intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy admitted to Jingxian County Hospital from January to December 2021 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given targeted nursing. The nursing effect, quality of life and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of nursing in the observation group was 98.00%, which was higher than 84.00% in the control group (P<0.05). The scores of emotional function, mental state, physical function and social function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Targeted nursing can improve the nursing effect of patients with intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy, improve the skin itching problem, improve the quality of life, and have higher nursing satisfaction.
