Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of compound lonicera in the treatment of mild and toxic acne vulgaris. Methods A total of 70 patients with mild to moderate acne admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 35 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine treatment, and the observation group was treated with compound lonicera. The clinical efficacy, changes of immune function indexes, changes of inflammatory factor levels, skin lesion degree scores, occurrence of adverse reactions and treatment satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.14%, which was higher than 71.43% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant P<0.05). The total satisfaction of the observation group was 97.14%, which was higher than 68.57% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion In the treatment of mild and moderate acne vulgaris, compound lonicera can effectively improve the clinical efficacy, enhance the immune function of patients, reduce the level of inflammation, reduce the degree of skin lesions, and have fewer adverse reactions, which can improve the treatment satisfaction of patients.
