Objective To verify the clinical effect and aesthetic significance of implant wide in the anterior maxillary teeth, and to maintain the gingival morphology by using the original tooth cervix. Methods From October 2020 to December 2021, 20 patients with maxillary anterior tooth loss were selected from the Department of Cosmetology of our hospital. According to the availability of tooth tissue, they were divided into observation group and control group, with 10 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with implant wide, and the gingival morphology was maintained by using the original tooth cervix. The control group underwent delayed implant surgery, and no soft tissue intervention was performed after surgery. After half a year of postoperative repair, the osseointegration and aesthetic effects [pink esthetic score (PES), white esthetic score (WES)] of the two groups were compared.
