Objective To explore the clinical effect of targeted psychological nursing for patients with traumatic tympanic membrane perforation undergoing tympanic membrane repair. Methods A total of 100 patients with traumatic tympanic membrane perforation who underwent tympanic membrane repair in our hospital from February 2020 to February 2022 were selected as study subjects. They were divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given targeted psychological nursing. The pure tone audiometry, treatment compliance and psychological status of the two groups were compared. Results The pure tone audiometry values of the two groups after nursing were lower than those before nursing, and that inthe observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The treatment compliance of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The SAS score and SDS score of the two groups after nursing were lower than those before nursing, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of targeted psychological nursing in patients with traumatic tympanic membrane perforation undergoing tympanic membrane repair is effective, which can improve the psychological state of patients, improve their treatment compliance, and is conducive to promoting the recovery of patients' hearing.
