Objective To analyze the clinical effect of Yupingfeng powder and Xiaofeng powder combined with cetirizine in the treatment of urticaria in children. Methods A total of 80 children with urticaria admitted to our hospital from July 2017 to July 2022 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into observation group and control group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with cetirizine, and the observation group was treated with Yupingfeng powder and Xiaofeng powder on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, TCM symptom score and improvement of wind group sign were compared between the two groups. Results The effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of dry mouth, thirst, irritability, dry stool, hand-foot-heart heat, urine short red and total scores in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the observation group were lower than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the number of wheals, itching degree, wheal size, seizure frequency, wheal duration score and total score of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Yupingfeng powder and Xiaofeng powder combined with cetirizine is effective in the treatment of urticaria in children, which can effectively relieve the symptoms and improve the wind group sign.
