As an important course in dentistry, endodontics is an important vehicle for dentistry teachers to carry out course thinking. The integration of ideological political elements into the endodontics course can enhance students' professional knowledge, cultivate students' home and country feelings, scientific spirit and professionalism, help students form a strong sense of social responsibility in a silent form, and ultimately improve the quality of teaching. This paper mainly analyzes the necessity of integrating ideological political elements into endodontics, the teaching mode, assessment method, implementation effect, existing problems and improvement measures of integrating ideological political elements into endodontics, in order to improve the teaching quality.
