Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of high-energy carbon dioxide laser combined with recombinant human interferon α-2a in the treatment of condyloma acuminatum. Methods Sixty patients with condyloma acuminatum admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to January 2022 were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with high-energy carbon dioxide laser, and the experimental group was treated with high-energy carbon dioxide laser combined with recombinant human interferon α-2a. The clinical efficacy, recurrence rate and quality of life scores were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). The recurrence rate of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). The quality of life score of the experimental group after treatment was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The application effect of high-energy carbon dioxide laser combined with recombinant human interferon α-2a treatment intervention in patients with condyloma acuminatum is better, which can reduce the recurrence rate and improve the quality of life of patients, and has certain clinical value.
