Objective To observe the clinical effect and safety of self-made Baibo decoction combined with 308 nm excimer light in the treatment of vitiligo. Methods A total of 120 patients with vitiligo diagnosed and treated in the outpatient department of Zhangye People's Hospital Affiliated to Hexi University from January 2020 to January 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 60 cases in each group. The control group was treated with 308 nm excimer light irradiation, and the observation group was treated with self-made Baibo decoction combined with 308 nm excimer light irradiation. The clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 88.33%, which was higher than 61.67% in the control group(P<0.05). No obvious long-term adverse reactions occurred in both groups. Conclusion The clinical effect of self-made Baibo decoction combined with 308 nm excimer light in the treatment of vitiligo is good, which can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients, promote the recovery of skin color, and the risk of adverse reactions is small and the safety is high.
