Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of zirconia restoration in oral repair. Methods From January 2019 to June 2022, 50 patients who received oral restoration treatment in Mayor Dental Hospital in Suzhou Industrial Park were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group ( n =25) and observation group ( n =25) by random number table method. The control group was repaired with nickel-chromium alloy full crown restoration, and the observation group was repaired with zirconium dioxide full crown restoration. The gingival index, occlusal ability, chewing efficiency and gingival crevicular fluid inflammatory factor levels were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, The score of PLI, GI and SBI in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group ( P <0.05). The occlusal ability and chewing efficiency of the two groups after treatment were higher than those before treatment, and the observation group was higher than the control group ( P <0.05). After treatment, the levels of IL-6 and TNF-α in the two groups were higher than those before treatment, but those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group ( P <0.05). Conclusion Compared with nickel-chromium alloy full crown restoration, zirconium dioxide full crown restoration is more helpful to promote the recovery of gingival index, improve occlusal ability and chewing efficiency, and reduce the incidence of gingival inflammation. It is effective and worthy of clinical application.
