Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of Ceramage polymer ceramic inlay and cast ceramic inlay in repairing class Ⅱ defect of teeth. Methods From January 2017 to March 2020,115 patients (130 teeth) with class Ⅱ defect of teeth repaired in our institute were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into experimental group (59 cases, 66 teeth) and control group (56 cases, 64 teeth). The experimental group was treated with Ceramage polymer ceramic for inlay repair, and the control group was treated with cast porcelain for inlay repair. After 2 years, the edge coloring, tightness, adjacency relationship, fracture, wear degree, gingival health and secondary caries were compared between the two groups. Results The effective rate of edge coloring, sealing and gingival health in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group ( P <0.05). There was no significant difference in the degree of wear and secondary caries between the two groups ( P >0.05). The failure rate of porcelain fracture and fracture in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was not statistically significant ( P >0.05). Conclusion The effect of Ceramage polymer ceramic inlay is better than that of cast ceramic inlay in repairing class Ⅱ defect of teeth, which can reduce the occurrence of gingival inflammation and adverse reactions such as porcelain collapse, and is worthy of clinical application.
