Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of ultrathin all-ceramic veneer in the cosmetic restoration of anterior teeth. Methods A total of 80 patients with cosmetic restoration of anterior teeth admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group using a random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. The control group used traditional porcelain veneers in the repair treatment, while the observation group used ultrathin all-ceramic veneers in the repair treatment. The repair success rate, repair effect, and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The repair success rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group ( P <0.05). The scores of tooth integrity, marginal fit, color matching of restorations, gingival health, and marginal coloration in the observation group were higher than those in the control group ( P <0.05). The satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group ( P <0.05). Conclusion Ultrathin all-ceramic veneer can improve the success rate of cosmetic restoration of anterior teeth, and the repair effect is more ideal, with higher patient satisfaction, which is worthy of clinical application.
