Abstract:Objective To compare the effect of porcelain veneer and porcelain crown restoration technology in oral cosmetic repair. Methods A total of 100 patients who underwent oral cosmetic repair in our hospital from January 2020 to December 2021 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with porcelain crown restoration, and the observation group was treated with porcelain veneer restoration. The repair effect, repair satisfaction and repair integrity of the two groups were compared. Results The marginality, integrity and gingival condition, secondary caries and tooth sensitivity, edge coloring and color matching scores of the restoration in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P <0.05). The satisfaction of tooth color, restoration edge and gingival adaptability in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P <0.05). The integrity of the restoration in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P <0.05). Conclusion The effect of porcelain veneer in oral cosmetic repair is better than that of porcelain crown, which can effectively improve the aesthetics of teeth and improve the integrity of restoration. Meanwhile, the patient's satisfaction with the repair is high, which is worthy of clinical application.
