Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of oral implant restoration in the treatment of dentition defect. Methods Ninety patients with dentition defect admitted to our hospital from May 2021 to May 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 45 cases in each group. The control group received routine repair treatment, and the observation group received oral implant repair treatment. The oral repair effect, complications, repair satisfaction and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The excellent and good rate of oral repair in the observation group was 100.00%, which was higher than 88.89% in the control group ( P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 0, which was lower than 8.89% in the control group ( P <0.05). The satisfaction scores of color matching, comfort, restoration shape, chewing function and language function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group ( P <0.05). The scores of all dimensions of quality of life in the observation group were higher than those in the control group ( P <0.05). Conclusion Oral implant repair is effective in the treatment of dentition defect, which can effectively improve the success rate and excellent rate of repair, with the advantages of high aesthetics and good retention effect. At the same time, it has fewer complications after repair, which is conducive to improving the quality of life of patients. And the patient's satisfaction with the prosthesis is high.
