Objective To observe the clinical effect of diammonium glycyrrhizinate capsule combined with urea vitamin E ointment in the treatment of senile pruritus. Methods A total of 62 patients with senile pruritus admitted to the Department of Dermatology and RENAFAN Conch Nursing Home from January 2019 to March 2022 were randomly divided into observation group (n=31) and control group (n=31). The control group was treated with urea vitamin E ointment, and the observation group was treated with diammonium glycyrrhizinate capsule on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, skin itching degree, incidence of adverse reactions and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P0.05). Conclusion Diammonium glycyrrhizinate capsule combined with urea vitamin E ointment can improve the clinical symptoms of patients with senile pruritus and improve the quality of life of patients, which is worthy of clinical application.
