Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of 5% minoxidil liniment+plum-blossom needle acupuncture+laser hair generator irradiation in the treatment of male androgenic alopecia. Methods A total of 90 male patients with androgenetic alopecia admitted to the dermatology clinic of our hospital from November 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into three groups : A, B and C, with 30 cases in each group. Group A was treated with 5% minoxidil liniment+plum-blossom needle acupuncture+laser hair generator irradiation. Group B was treated with 5% minoxidil liniment+laser hair generator irradiation. Group C was treated with 5% minoxidil liniment+plum-blossom needle acupuncture. The hair density, hair diameter variation rate, hair follicle unit ratio containing single hair, and average hair shaft diameter of the left frontal horn, right frontal horn, and head top were compared before and after treatment by hair microscopy. Results After treatment, the hair density, hair diameter variation rate, hair follicle unit ratio with single hair, and hair shaft average diameter of the left frontal angle, right frontal angle, and head top in the three groups were better than those before treatment (P<0.05), while the hair density and hair diameter variation rate of group A were better than those of group B and group C, the proportion of hair follicles containing single hair in the top of the head was better than that of group B, and the proportion of hair follicles containing single hair in the left frontal angle, right frontal angle and top of the head was better than that of group C (P<0.05). Conclusion The combined therapy of 5% minoxidil liniment+plum-blossom needle acupuncture+laser hair generator irradiation has better efficacy in the treatment of male androgenic alopecia, with faster hair growth and lower hair diameter variation rate, which is worthy of clinical application.
