Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of targeted nursing on wound recovery and quality of life in patients with severe burns and complications. Methods A total of 68 patients with severe burns and complications admitted to the Department of Burn and Plastic Surgery, Staff Hospital of Handan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. from June 2021 to September 2022 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into observation group and control group, with 34 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was given targeted nursing. The pain (VAS score), wound recovery (healing time and healing rate) and quality of life (BSHS-A scale score) were compared between the two groups after nursing intervention. Results After intervention, the VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the healing time and healing rate were better than those of the control group (P
