Objective To explore the application effect of mind mapping mode in improving the sterilization quality of instruments in central sterilized supply department. Methods The surgical instruments sterilized in the central sterilized supply department of our hospital from April 2021 to July 2022 were selected as the research objects, 300 instruments sterilized from April to November 2021 were selected as the control group, while 300 instruments sterilized from December 2021 to July 2022 were selected as the observation group. The control group was routinely sterilized according to the sterilization process of the disinfection supply center. The observation group added a mind map model on the basis of the conventional sterilization process. The two groups were compared in terms of equipment packaging integrity, equipment integrity and medical satisfaction. Results The qualified rate of packaging in the observation group was 100.00%, which was higher than 97.00% in the control group ( P <0.05). The equipment integrity rate and satisfaction score of the observation group were higher than those of the control group.( P <0.05). Conclusion The application of mind mapping mode in improving the sterilization quality of instruments in central sterilized supply department is effective, which can effectively improve the qualified rate of instrument packaging and the integrity of instruments, meanwhile the satisfaction of medical staff with the sterilization quality of instruments is high.
