Abstract:Objective To analyze the prevalence and related factors of hypertension in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Methods A total of 1348 patients with rheumatoid arthritis admitted to our hospital from February 2020 to February 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. The prevalence of hypertension in patients with different genders and ages was statistically analyzed, and the general data and comorbidities of patients with hypertension and non-hypertension were statistically analyzed. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the related factors. Results Among the 1348 patients, 444 had hypertension, with a prevalence of 32.94%. The prevalence of hypertension in male patients aged 30-39 years was higher than that in female patients (P<0.05). The incidence of skin ulcers is higher than that of non hypertensive patients (P<0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that fatty liver, dyslipidemia and hyperuricemia, ulcer were risk factors for hypertension in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (P<0.05). Conclusion The prevalence of hypertension in patients with rheumatoid arthritis is high, and the related risk factors include fatty liver, dyslipidemia, hyperuricemia and ulcer. Therefore, the screening and management of hypertension and cardiovascular complications should be strengthened.
