Objective To analyze the effect of psychological nursing based on hope level on negative emotion and wound beauty after delivery. Methods From April 2021 to April 2022, 100 parturients who gave birth in Nanjing Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 50 parturients in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was combined with psychological nursing based on hope level. The psychological status, wound scar (PSAS) and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The SAS and SDS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). The PSAS score of the observation group was better than that of the control group (P<0.05). The total incidence of complications after delivery in the observation group was 2.00%, which was lower than 14.00% in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Psychological nursing based on hope level can improve the negative emotion after delivery, improve the beauty of wound and reduce the incidence of postpartum complications.
