Abstract:Objective To analyze the wound aesthetics and blood glucose control effect of pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus under ADOPT nursing mode. Methods A total of 100 pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus admitted to Nanjing Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital from March 2021 to January 2022 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 50 pregnant women in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received ADOPT nursing mode intervention. The blood glucose control, compliance and wound scar (PSAS) were compared between the two groups. Results The fasting blood glucose and 2 h postprandial blood glucose in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The scores of diet and exercise compliance in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The PSAS score of the observation group was better than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion ADOPT nursing mode intervention for pregnant women with gestational diabetes is conducive to controlling blood glucose stability, improving maternal compliance during pregnancy, improving wound aesthetics, and reducing pregnancy risk.
