Abstract:Objective To observe the application effect of fixed denture repair in patients with anterior teeth loss. Methods A total of 72 patients with anterior teeth loss admitted to the Department of Stomatology of our hospital from February 2020 to February 2023 were selected as the research objects. According to different oral repair methods, they were divided into control group and experimental group, with 36 patients in each group. The control group was given removable denture repair, and the experimental group was given fixed denture repair. The clinical efficacy, periodontal index, inflammatory factor level, pain factor level and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the experimental group was 97.22%, which was higher than 77.78% in the control group (P<0.05). After 24 hours of treatment, the levels of PD, SBI and PLI in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After 24 hours of treatment, the levels of IL-8, TNF-α and IL-6 in the two groups were higher than those before treatment, but those in the experimental group were lower than the control group (P<0.05). After 24 hours of treatment, the levels of 5-hydroxytryptamine, substance P and prostaglandin in the two groups were higher than those before treatment, but those in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the experimental group was 2.78%, which was lower than 25.0 % in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The application effect of fixed denture restoration in patients with anterior tooth loss is accurate. Compared with removable denture restoration, it can effectively reduce the trauma to the body, reduce the levels of inflammatory factors and pain factors, and at the same time, the incidence of complications after restoration is lower and the safety is higher, which is conducive to promoting the recovery of oral health of patients.
