Abstract:Objective To explore the application of light-cured composite resin in clinical oral cosmetology. Methods A total of 76 patients who underwent oral cosmetic repair in Qiaodong SU Min Dental Clinic from June 2019 to June 2022 were selected as the subjects of this study. They were grouped according to the time of oral repair. Patients who underwent oral cosmetic repair from June 2019 to December 2020 were the reference group. Patients who underwent oral cosmetic repair from January 2021 to June 2022 were the study group, with 38 patients in each group. The reference group was repaired with porcelain crown, and the study group was repaired with light-cured composite resin. The repair effect, complications and satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 94.74%, which was higher than 81.58% in the reference group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The total incidence of complications in the study group was 5.26%, which was lower than 13.15% in the reference group, but the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05).the satisfaction score of the study group was higher than that of the reference group ,and the difference was statistically significant, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of light-cured composite resin in clinical oral cosmetic repair is effective, which is better than that of porcelain crown repair, with lower incidence of complications after repair and higher the patients' satisfaction. It is worthy of clinical application.
