Abstract:Objective To investigate the efffect of cosmetic suture on the quality of facial trauma wound healing. Methods From January 2021 to January 2022, 100 patients with facial trauma treated in our hospital were selected as the research objects. They were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 50 patients in each group. The control group was treated with routine debridement and suture, and the observation group was treated with early cosmetic suture. The wound healing effect, adverse reactions, scar formation at 1 month and 1 year after operation were compared between the two groups. Results The Vancouver Scar Scale scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). the wound healing time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The pain scores of the two groups at 10 and 20 days after treatment were lower than those before treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The scar index of the observation group was lower than that of the control group at 1 month and 1 year after operation, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Early cosmetic suture in the treatment of facial trauma can effectively improve the quality of wound healing, accelerate healing, reduce the incidence of postoperative adverse reactions and patients' pain, and reduce scar formation, which is worthy of clinical application.
