Abstract:Objective To analyze the application effect of 5-aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy (ALA-PDT) combined with interferon for injection in the treatment of female condyloma acuminatum. Methods A total of 74 female patients with condyloma acuminatum admitted to our hospital from May 2021 to September 2022 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 37 patients in each group. The control group was treated with CO2 laser, while the observation group was treated with ALA-PDT combined with interferon for injection. The clinical effcacy, the number of HPV6/11 DNA load, the levels of inflammatory factors and immune function indexes were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 94.59%, which was higher than 78.38% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the HPV6/11 DNA load, interleukin-2 (IL-2), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interleukin-8 (IL-8) in the observation group were better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, CD4+ , CD8+ and CD4+ /CD8+ in the observation group were better than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion LAL-PDT combined with interferon for injection can improve the immune function and inflammatory response of female patients with condyloma acuminatum, and improve the therapeutic effect.
