Abstract:Objective To analyze the application effect of medical chitosan wound repair membrane gel in the clinical treatment of patients with facial trauma. Methods Fifty patients with facial trauma admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into experimental group and control group by random number table method, with 25 patients in each group. The control group was given routine treatment of facial wounds, and the experimental group was given medical chitosan wound repair membrane gel on the basis of the control group. The facial wound healing, clinical efficacy and facial wound bacteria were compared between the two groups. Results The facial wound healing rate of the experimental group was 100.00%, which was higher than 84.00% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The effective rate of treatment in the experimental group was 100.00%, which was higher than 84.00% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). On the 3rd and 5th day of treatment, the proportion of wound bacteria <1 cfu/cm2 in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, and the proportion of 1 cfu/cm2
