Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of intralesional injection of heparin sodium and ultrapulse CO2 laser in the treatment of xanthelasma palpebrarum. Methods A total of 60 patients with xanthelasma palpebrarum who were treated in our hospital from October 2019 to October 2021 were selected as the research objects and divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The observation group was treated with intralesional injection of heparin sodium, and the control group was treated with ultrapulse CO2 laser. The clinical efficacy and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 93.33%, which was lower than 96.67% in the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant (P >0.05). The in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Both heparin sodium treatment and CO2 laser treatment have certain effects on xanthelasma palpebrarum, but the incidence of complications in heparin sodium injection treatment is low, and the clinical choice can be made according to the actual needs of patients.
