Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of orthodontics combined with porcelain cosmetic assisted orthodontics on the aesthetics and occlusal function of patients with residual roots of anterior teeth. Methods A total of 80 patients with residual roots of anterior teeth who underwent oral aesthetic restoration in our hospital from January 2019 to May 2021 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and porcelain group by random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was treated with post-core orthodontic repair, and the porcelain group was treated with porcelain cosmetic repair on the basis of the control group. The occlusion relationship, repair success rate and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The occlusal contact time of the porcelain group was longer than that of the control group, and the left and right lateral force percentage and force center distance were lower than those of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The success rate of repair in the porcelain group was 97.50%, which was higher than 85.00% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the porcelain group was 5.00%, which was lower than 22.50% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Orthodontics combined with porcelain cosmetology assisted orthodontics can improve the occlusal relationship of patients to a certain extent, effectively improve the success rate of repair, promote the improvement of tooth aesthetics, and reduce the incidence of complications, with high application safety.
