Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of carbon dioxide laser combined with ganciclovir in the treatment of condyloma acuminatum. Methods A total of 80 patients with condyloma acuminatum admitted to our hospital from June 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the research objects and divided into experimental group and control group according to the random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was treated with carbon dioxide laser, and the experimental group was treated with carbon dioxide laser combined with ganciclovir. The clinical efficacy, peripheral blood T lymphocyte level, adverse reactions, recurrence, satisfaction and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). The levels of CD3+, CD4+ and CD8+ in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the CD4+/CD8+ was lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions and recurrence rate in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The satisfaction of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). The scores of quality of life in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Carbon dioxide laser combined with ganciclovir is effective in the treatment of condyloma acuminatum, which can effectively regulate the immune function of patients, reduce the incidence of adverse reactions, reduce recurrence, improve the quality of life, and improve treatment satisfaction.
