Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of porcelain veneer and all-ceramic crown in cosmetic repair of anterior teeth. Methods A total of 50 patients who underwent cosmetic repair of anterior teeth in our hospital from January 2019 to January 2021 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 25 patients in each group. The control group was repaired with all-ceramic crowns, and the observation group was repaired with porcelain veneers. The excellent and good rate of repair, aesthetics, comfort and pain degree in different follow-up periods were compared between the two groups. Results The excellent and good rate of repair in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The pink esthetic score and white esthetic score of the observation group after repair were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The comfort score of the observation group after repair was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The visual pain simulation score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group after 3,6 and 12 months of repair, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion In the process of cosmetic repair of anterior teeth, compared with all-ceramic crown repair, porcelain laminate veneer repair can effectively improve the overall repair rate, improve the aesthetics and comfort of anterior teeth, and reduce the degree of pain. It is worthy of clinical application.
