Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical effect of wedge-shaped longitudinal incision combined with circumcise in the treatment of nipple hypertrophy. Methods From February 2020 to March 2022, 40 patients with nipple hypertrophy admitted to Hunan Occupational Disease Prevention Hospital were selected. All patients were treated with a combination of wedge shaped longitudinal incision and circumcise. The height, diameter and patient satisfaction of the nipple before and after surgery were compared. The occurrence of adverse reactions was recorded and the postoperative healing of the patients was observed. Results The diameter and height of nipple after treatment were lower than those before treatment (P<0.05). The satisfaction score of patients after treatment was higher than that before treatment (P<0.05). There were no adverse reactions in 40 patients. After half a year of follow-up, the healing was good, bilateral symmetry, and the patient's nipple sensation and erectile function were normal. Conclusion The clinical effect of wedge-shaped longitudinal incision combined with circumcise in the treatment of nipple hypertrophy is better, which can effectively improve the diameter and height of nipples, and has higher safety and faster recovery. Meanwhile, it has a positive impact on improving the aesthetics of breasts in female patients.
