Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of comprehensive nursing in patients with temporomandibular joint disorder. Methods A total of 50 patients with temporomandibular joint disorder admitted to our hospital from December 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into study group and reference group, with 25 patients in each group. The reference group was given routine nursing, and the study group was given comprehensive nursing. The psychological resilience, pain degree, temporomandibular joint dysfunction index score and treatment compliance were compared between the two groups. Results After nursing, the scores and total scores of CD-RISC in the study group were higher than those in the reference group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The VAS score of the study group after nursing was lower than that of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The compliance rate of the study group was higher than that of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After nursing, the scores and total scores of DI in the study group were lower than those in the reference group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of comprehensive nursing intervention in patients with temporomandibular joint disorder can improve their psychological resilience, relieve pain, improve patients' treatment compliance, and help patients recover temporomandibular joint function as soon as possible
