Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of sodium hyaluronate combined with pranoprofen in the treatment of dry eye. Methods A total of 80 patients with dry eye admitted to the ophthalmology clinic of our hospital from August 2020 to May 2022 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was treated with sodium hyaluronate, and the observation group was treated with sodium hyaluronate combined with pranoprofen. The clinical efficacy, clinical indicators and complications of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 97.50%, which was higher than 80.00% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The corneal and conjunctival fluorescein staining score and dry eye symptom score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the tear river height and BUT were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 2.50%, which was higher than 17.50% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Sodium hyaluronate combined with pranoprofen is effective in the treatment of dry eye patients, which can effectively improve the eye symptoms, promote the secretion of tears, and has high drug safety.
