Abstract:Postoperative dry eye is a common symptom of cataract patients after surgical treatment. The main clinical manifestations of patients are photophobia, blurred vision, red eyes, dryness, excessive mucus, tears and foreign body sensation in the eyes. The causes of postoperative dry eye in cataract patients include abnormal changes in conjunctival epithelium, tear film and corneal epithelium, resulting in a significant increase in tear volume. Therefore, after cataract surgery, patients should focus on dry eye symptoms and take appropriate treatment measures to ensure that patients' eye function returns to the normal. This article mainly analyzes the causes of dry eye after cataract surgery, and reviews its treatment progress, in order to provide reference for the treatment of dry eye after cataract surgery.
