Abstract:Caries and dental trauma are the most important factors leading to deciduous incisor defects. The defects of incisor teeth have certain effects on the appearance, pronunciation and chewing, and even the mental health of children. Several restoration methods used in clinical practice including composite resin restoration, strip crown restoration, porcelain crown restoration of deciduous anterior teeth, CAD/CAM resin crown restoration, etc. Each method has its advantages and disadvantages. Strip crown repair is the most popular one, which has the advantages of beauty, convenience and high cost performance. The best aesthetic effect is the porcelain crown restoration. However, due to its high price and excessive grinding, the clinical application is limited. In a word, aesthetic restoration is a complex process led by doctors and involved by patients. It is necessary to choose the most appropriate restoration method according to the condition of the affected tooth, the child, the economic level and the parents' wishes. This article provides a review of various aesthetic restoration methods for deciduous anterior teeth, providing reference for clinical decision-making and future research directions.
