Abstract:Objective To compare the effects of immediate implant restoration and delayed implant restoration of single tooth in aesthetic area. Methods A total of 132 patients who underwent single tooth repair in our hospital from October 2015 to December 2021 were selected as the research objects. According to the different repair time schemes, they were divided into control group and study group, with 66 patients in each group. The control group was given delayed implant restoration, and the study group was given immediate implant restoration. The labial bone thickness, alveolar ridge bone resorption height and satisfaction score were compared between the two groups. Results At 1 year after operation, the thickness of labial bone in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the height of alveolar bone absorption was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The scores of color, chewing function, attachment height and overall aesthetics in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Immediate implant restoration of single tooth in the aesthetic area is superior to delayed implant restoration in improving soft tissue stability, promoting the recovery of chewing function and improving the aesthetics of implanted teeth. Meanwhile, it is beneficial to reduce the loss of labial bone thickness and reduce alveolar bone absorption.
