Abstract:Objective To evaluate the application prospect of digital evaluation method for prosthesis color based on HSB Results The score of △HSB was (0.02±0.03), which was higher than that of △WES (0.00±0.00), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The color score of WES could not capture the variability of the prosthesis color from the color reference tooth color in each case, while the HSB color score method could not only show the overall color variability,, but also evaluate the color of the prosthetic from three aspects: hue (H), saturation (S) and brightness (B). Conclusion The digital evaluation method of prosthesis color based on HSB color model is more reliable, and has a good prospect of clinical application. color model in aesthetic area. Methods From December 2020 to March 2023, 10 patients who received good upper anterior prosthetic treatments and had good prosthetic effect in the Department of Stomatology, Nanjing First Hospital, Nanjing Medical University were collected as the research objects. In this study, the color of the incisal region, middle region, and cervical region of the prostheses and their color reference teeth were measured using a color picker tool, avoiding reflective zones. And the coefficient of variability Hv、Sv、Bv of hue (H), saturation (S) and brightness (B) and HSB color scores were calculated according to the formula. Then the same doctor used the same photo to score the color of the restoration in the WES score.
