Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of minocycline combined with Xiyu medical skin cleansing patch in the treatment of moderate acne. Methods A total of 52 patients with moderate facial acne admitted to the Department of Dermatology, People's Hospital Affiliated to Jiangsu University from December 2021 to December 2022 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 26 patients in each group. The control group was treated with minocycline, and the observation group was treated with minocycline combined with Xiyu medical skin cleansing patch. The skin lesion severity score, acne erythema score and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results The GSGS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group after1, 2, 4 and 8 weeks of treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The erythema score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group after1, 2, 4 and 8 weeks of treatment, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). the total effective rate of the two groups was 100.00%, but the cure rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The clinical effect of minocycline combined with Xiyu medical skin cleansing patch in the treatment of moderate acne is good, with fast onset and high cure rate, which is worthy of clinical application.
