Abstract:Objective To compare the cosmetic effects of pneumatic dental elevator and traditional dental elevator in different difficulty tooth extraction. Methods A total of 70 patients who underwent minimally invasive tooth extraction in our hospital from July 2022 to March 2023 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 35 patients in each group. The control group used traditional dental elevator, and the observation group used pneumatic dental elevator. The operation time, pain degree, aesthetics and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in the operation time between the two groups of patients with grade 1 removal difficulty (P>0.05). The operation time of patients with grade 2 and grade 3 removal difficulty in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group (P0.05). The VAS scores of patients with grade 2 and grade 3 removal difficulty in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P0.05). Conclusion Compared with the traditional dental elevator, the application of pneumatic dental elevator in different difficulty tooth extraction can further accelerate the operation efficiency, reduce intraoperative injury, reduce postoperative pain, improve the beauty of teeth, and the cosmetic effect is more ideal.
