Objective To observe the effect of invisible orthodontic treatment combined with periodontal basic treatment on inflammatory cytokines and periodontal health index in patients with periodontitis. Methods A total of 60 patients with periodontitis who received orthodontic treatment in Nanning Angel Dental Hospital from January 2021 to March 2022 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 30 patients in each group. The control group was treated with invisible appliance. The observation group was treated with periodontal basic treatment before the treatment of invisible appliance. After wearing invisible appliance for 1 year, the periodontal basic treatment was performed again.
