Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of cosmetic suturing on the healing and incision of lateral episiotomy. Methods Sixty pregnant women who underwent episiotomy at our hospital from April 2022 to March 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into two groups according to the envelope sealing method, namely the control group (n=30, external perineal suture technology) and the observation group (n=30, subcutaneous cosmetic suture method). The incision healing, surgical indicators, incision swelling degree, knot reaction, pain degree, aesthetic satisfaction and incision infection were compared between the two groups.
