Objective To explore the application effect of anesthesia depth monitoring in plastic and cosmetic surgery. Methods A total of 80 patients who underwent cosmetic surgery in our hospital from March 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and experimental group by random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. All patients were given total intravenous anesthesia during operation. The dosage of anesthetic drugs was adjusted according to the experience of the anesthesiologist in the control group, and the dosage of anesthetic drugs was adjusted according to the monitoring results of bispectral index (BIS) in the experimental group. The hemodynamic indexes, stress indexes, recovery time and adverse events were compared between the two groups.
