Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of eyebrow lifting surgery combined with double eyelid plasty in upper eyelid rejuvenation. Methods A total of 80 patients who underwent upper eyelid rejuvenation in our hospital from August 2020 to August 2022 were selected as the research objects. According to the different surgical methods, they were divided into control group and study group, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was treated with eyebrow lifting surgery, and the study group was treated with eyebrow lifting surgery combined with double eyelid plasty. The improvement effect of skin relaxation, eyebrow height, improvement of Lemperle score of upper eyelid wrinkle, complications and treatment satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The margin reflex distance (MRD), medial corneal margin-fold distance (MCMFD), medial corneal margin-fold distance (MCMFD), and lateral canthus margin-fold distance (LCMFD) in the study group were higher than those in the control group at 3 and 6 months after operation (P<0.05). The medial corneal eyebrow height (MCBH), middle pupil eyebrow height (MPBH) and lateral canthus eyebrow height (LCBH) in the study group were higher than those in the control group at 6 months after operation (P<0.05). The improvement of Lemperle score of upper eyelid wrinkles in the study group was higher than that in the control group at 3 and 6 months after operation (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups (P>0.05). The treatment satisfaction of the study group was 95.00%, which was higher than 77.50% of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Eyebrow lifting surgery combined with double eyelid plasty is effective in upper eyelid rejuvenation, which can effectively improve upper eyelid skin relaxation, stabilize eyebrow height, and will not increase the risk of postoperative complications. Meanwhile, the patient satisfaction is high, which is worthy of clinical application.
