Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of periodontal tissue regeneration combined with orthodontics in the treatment of periodontitis. Methods A total of 90 patients with periodontitis admitted to our hospital from April 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects. According to the order of admission, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 45 patients in each group. The control group was treated with periodontal tissue regeneration, and the observation group was treated with periodontal tissue regeneration combined with orthodontic treatment. The clinical efficacy, periodontal indexes and complications of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 93.33%, which was higher than 75.56% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P0.05). Conclusion Periodontal tissue regeneration combined with orthodontics is effective in the treatment of periodontitis, which can effectively improve the periodontal condition of patients without increasing the risk of complications, and has high application safety
