Objective To study the cosmetic effect of Poqing facial mask combined with intensive pulsed light therapy on facial acne vulgaris. Methods A total of 120 patients with facial acne vulgaris admitted from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group (n=60, ordinary water supplement mask+intensive pulsed light therapy) and observation group (n=60, Poqing facial mask+intensive pulsed light therapy) by random number table method. The clinical treatment effect, TCM syndrome score and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P0.05). Conclusion Vaccinia clear mask+intensive pulsed light therapy has good cosmetic effect on facial acne vulgaris, which can alleviate clinical symptoms, improve skin conditions, and has a low probability of adverse reactions. Meanwhile, it can also improve the level of various physiological indicators of the skin, and has high treatment safety and effectiveness, which is worth recommending
