Abstract:Dentition defect is common in clinical practice, and it is usually treated by implant restoration. Before treatment, it is necessary to evaluate the gingival thickness of the patient's planned planting area in detail, and there are many measurement methods. In recent years, digital technology has been fully developed, and digital evaluation has been gradually applied to clinical practice, which can promote more accurate measurement results. This paper analyzes the advantages of digital measurement methods, and expounds the value of digital evaluation of gingival thickness in patients with dentition defect, in order to provide some theoretical support for the clinical application of digital evaluation.
