Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical effect of oral implant restoration in patients with dentition defect. Methods A total of 50 patients with dentition defect who underwent oral repair in our hospital from January 2020 to May 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 25 patients in each group. The control group was treated with removable denture restoration, and the observation group was treated with oral implant restoration. The clinical efficacy, recovery, treatment satisfaction and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 82.00%, which was higher than 52.00% in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of language function, chewing function, comfort, aesthetics and fixation function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The treatment satisfaction of the observation group was 92.00%, which was higher than 64.00% of the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 8.00%, which was lower than 32.00% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The effect of oral implant restoration on patients with dentition defect is good, which can improve the aesthetics and comfort of teeth, improve the oral function, improve the satisfaction, and reduce the risk of complications after repair.
